Guitar players - Have you ever ever heard of a “Peavey Renown” 160watt Guitar Amp Head?

Um, that would be a no. I assure you - they don’t exist… until NOW!

I was looking around at some of my antiquated gear the other night, trying to figure out what I have and what I should replace. I came across a really, really powerful Peavey Renown combo amp in my basement that I never use because it has blown speakers and suddenly found myself reasoning this way:

The Beatles Collection Re-mastered!, Coming to Itunes, early 08′

I was looking for a collection of Beatles tracks to add to my digital library this morning and must say I was very surprised to learn that the band is not offered on Itunes. This may not sound like much of an issue, I mean if I want a Beatles tune I could always drive to the store and get it (of course why would anyone think of that in todays cyber-addicted society). I did a search out of curiosity, read some articles, and found that The Beatles will be listed on Itunes early this year. But, here’s the thing; the articles mentioned that they needed to wrap up the re-mastering of the ENTIRE Beatles collection first…

I don’t flaunt it much, but I am a huge Beatles fan. I have a decent collection of CD’s, vinyl, posters, and memorabilia. Because most of the music the Beatles recorded was done so long ago, the quality is nothing compared to todays digital standards. Granted that adds to the overall feel of the music, but it would be nice to have a high-res, sort of speak, version of the tunes as well.
